PreparedDocs for government benefits
The form takes an afternoon. Assembling the medical records, the work history, the proof of residence and the income evidence takes months, and an application that is short one document is an application that gets denied and appealed.
Built for benefits advocates, caseworkers and nonprofits.

The reality
Not the version in the process document. The version that turns up.
A list written for an administrator is not a list a person can act on, so what arrives is half of what was meant and twice as much of the wrong thing.
Several providers, several employers, several agencies, over months, each in its own format and none of them in order.
When a decision has to be appealed, the evidence has to be reassembled and shown to have been submitted in the first place.
Your firm sets its own checklist. This is the shape most of them take.
Ask for documents in language somebody without a caseworker can act on
Everything that arrives is identified and filed against what was requested
The outstanding list stays accurate without anybody maintaining it
What was submitted, and when, is recorded and cannot be edited afterwards
The package is built once and rebuilt for an appeal without starting over
One engine
Collect the documents, work out what they are, say what is missing, organise what arrived, build the package somebody has to submit. That sequence does not change between a petition, a claim and a loan file. Only the vocabulary and the checklist do, which is why a firm that works across two of these does not need two products.
Every file is stored exactly as it arrived and is never rewritten. Anything the product produces is a new document beside the original, and you can take the whole file out whenever you want, as an archive with an index.
